October4 works across product development, sourcing and manufacturing — the three stages where a technical garment is usually lost in translation.
A designer can walk into our development studio in Chattogram with a blue-sky idea and walk out with a production-feasible tech file, a pattern and a working prototype. From there the same team sources the fabrics and trims, and puts the style on a line built for that construction.
That continuity is the point. The people who solved the construction problem are the people who see it through the factory.
Our new factory

At this stage we are on our growth trajectory, and based on our long-run needs we are building our own production plant with 80 production lines, located in the Economic Zone, Mirsharai, Chattogram.

Seam sealing & waterproofing
Every stitched seam is a hole in a waterproof shell. Taping closes them, panel by panel, so the garment performs as one surface.
Sew-free & bonding
Panels, pockets and trims joined with adhesive film and laser-cut edges instead of stitching — fewer needle holes, flatter construction.
Down & insulation
Down and synthetic insulation, quilted and constructed in-house on dedicated quilting lines.
Heating
Heated garment systems integrated into technical outerwear.

DEVELOPMENT / SOURCING / MANUFACTURING
One product journey, start to finish
The route a style takes through October4, from the first sketch to the final inspection before shipment.
- Sketch
Development starts at the sketch table, working with the brand's designers.
- Tech file
The team compiles the tech file: BOM, construction and technical details, measurement spec and workmanship guideline.
- Merchandising
The merchandising team analyses the file, develops and sources appropriate fabrics and materials, and prepares the costing.
- Pattern
The pattern team carries the information out of the tech file and builds the pattern.
- Mock-up
Features are developed and proven with mock-ups.
- Prototype
Once the pattern is final, prototypes are built and consumption is calculated.
- Production
The style moves to a production line matched to its construction.
- Inspection
In-line technical inspection and final inspection before shipment.
